The United Arab Emirates’ air defenses are currently engaging with missile and drone attacks originating from Iran, according to the Ministry of Defence.
UAE Air Defenses Intercept Attacks
The UAE air defense is currently battling missile and drone attacks launched from Iran, the Ministry of Defence confirmed on Tuesday after 4:00 PM Polish time.
The Ministry stated that sounds heard across various areas of the country are a result of the interception of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones by UAE air defense systems.
Active Countermeasures in Place
UAE air defense systems are actively countering threats from missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles, the Ministry of Defence added.
The Ministry of Defence National emphasized that the sounds heard throughout the country are a consequence of ongoing combat operations involving missiles and drones.
