Poland is set to sign a major agreement with the European Commission this Friday in Warsaw, securing up to 43.7 billion euros in low-interest loans via the SAFE program.
Agreement Signing Ceremony
The official signing ceremony for the SAFE program agreement will take place this Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Prime Minister’s office in Warsaw, according to government plenipotentiary Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka.
Financial Terms and Scope
As part of the SAFE program, Poland is scheduled to receive up to 43.7 billion euros in the form of low-interest loans.
Key Signatories
Representing the Polish side, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Minister of Finance and Economy Andrzej Domański will sign the agreement.
From the European Commission, the agreement will be signed by Budget Commissioner Piotr Serafin and Defense Commissioner Andrius Kubilius.
