Motorcyclist Hits Building Wall: Two Injured, Passenger Critical

A serious motorcycle accident in Sulejów on Sunday, May 10, left two people injured, including a passenger who was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition after hitting a building wall.

The Collision

On Sunday, May 10, around 17:15 in Sulejów, Wołomin county, a motorcyclist lost control of a Suzuki on a curve. The vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a building wall at the junction of Szosa Jadowska and Ogrodowa Street.

According to preliminary findings, the motorcycle was likely traveling from the direction of Jadow along Szosa Jadowska before the driver lost control for undetermined reasons.

Emergency Response and Injuries

Emergency services, including the fire department, medical teams, police, and an LPR helicopter, responded to the scene. The passenger sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported by the LPR helicopter to the hospital after receiving initial medical care.

The driver was also hospitalized, though reports from the scene indicate his injuries were not immediately life-threatening.

Investigation and Traffic Management

Initial checks confirmed the driver was sober and held a valid driving license. Due to her health condition, the passenger was not tested at the scene; police will collect blood samples at the hospital.

Firefighters implemented a shuttle traffic system to manage congestion and facilitate emergency operations. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the event.
