Capital city detectives have arrested a 39-year-old man who stored a terabyte of illegal sexual content involving minors and animals, leading to charges that carry a potential 15-year prison sentence.
Investigation and Arrest
Warsaw criminal investigators tracked the 39-year-old suspect using specialized network monitoring software and traffic analysis. The investigation confirmed he was downloading and distributing pornography involving minors and animals.
The suspect was caught off guard when police raided his residence. Inside, they discovered a room fully equipped with an extensive array of electronic hardware used for his illicit activities.
Seized Evidence
Forensic specialists from the Metropolitan Police Laboratory examined the suspect’s hardware, finding approximately one terabyte of illegal content on a single drive. In total, police seized 10 laptops, over a dozen internal and external hard drives, portable storage devices, and multiple mobile phones.
All seized equipment has been sent for detailed forensic analysis to determine the full extent of the stored materials.
Legal Consequences
The District Prosecutor’s Office in Pruszków has formally charged the man under Article 202 of the Penal Code for the acquisition, possession, and distribution of child pornography and bestiality.
Following a review of the evidence, the court has ordered the suspect to be held in temporary detention for three months. He faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
