Powerful Storms in Poland: Activity to Continue in Near Future

According to weather analysts from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management, widespread low-pressure systems over Poland have resulted in severe storms and heavy rain across many cities, including Skarżysko-Kamienna and Siedlce, with more storms expected to follow.

Storms and Hail in Multiple Locations

Storms affected numerous Polish cities this week, including Skarżysko-Kamienna where the “intense rainfall and storms may lead to localized damage,” said the Weather Network I and II. Similar events occurred in Siedlce and several locations in southern and northern Poland where hailstorms were reported.

Weather Patterns for Weekend

As the weekend approaches, a cold front is expected to bring variable weather conditions, with temperatures ranging from 17°C in Jelenia Góra to 24°C in Rzeszów. The central and eastern parts of Poland will experience a low-pressure system with periodic rainfall, while the western region will see a warming trend.
