Porsche Driver Crashes into Two Vehicles at UN Headquarters Roundabout

A Porsche crashed into two other vehicles at the UN Headquarters roundabout in Warsaw on Friday afternoon, blocking two lanes of Prosta Street near Swietokrzyska Street and causing a temporary traffic disruption.

Collision Details

Police preliminary investigations indicate that the Porsche driver ran a red light, colliding with a Mercedes and a Toyota. The three vehicles involved were a Porsche, a Mercedes, and a Toyota.

Emergency Response

Police from the Traffic Division blocked two lanes of Prosta Street heading towards Swietokrzyska Street while emergency teams attended to the scene. The Porsche driver was medically examined by emergency services, while other participants received no serious injuries.

Traffic Disruption

The incident occurred at one of the busiest intersections in central Warsaw. Due to one vehicle obstructing the roadway, traffic flow in the direction of Swietokrzyska Street was restricted with two lanes of Prosta Street blocked.

Investigation

Initial investigation suggests that the accident was caused by the Porsche driver disobeying a traffic signal. Both Mercedes and Toyota were following traffic rules while traversing the intersection. No major injuries were reported among the participants. The Porsche driver was examined by first responders, while other participants required no medical intervention.
