The third week of September will bring significant changes to Poland’s weather with temperatures dropping and frequent rainfall, according to meteorological forecasts.
Temperature Drop Expected
The average maximum temperature across most of the country will drop to around 18-19 degrees Celsius, several degrees lower than the first weeks of September. Even in the warmest regions, temperatures will not exceed 20 degrees.
Nighttime Temperatures to Fall Below 10°C
According to yourweather.pl, nighttime temperatures in parts of the country will drop below 10 degrees Celsius during the first half of September, and in some cases, as low as 5 degrees Celsius.
Increased Rainfall Projections
The Institute of Meteorology and Water Economy predicts that total rainfall across the country in the entire month of September will be below the long-term monthly average of 1991-2020. However, the second half of the month is expected to bring more rainfall than the first weeks.
Summaries of rainfall in the latter half of September are projected to range from 20 to over 50 mm.
