FSB Headquarters Targeted in Kherson

President Zelenskyy confirmed a successful strike on a Russian FSB intelligence headquarters carried out on Tuesday afternoon, May 21. While the exact timing remains unclear, the operation took place in the Russian-occupied Kherson region.

Official reports indicate approximately one hundred Russian military personnel were killed or wounded in the attack. A Russian Pantsir-S1 air defense system was also destroyed during the mission.

Ukrainian Strike on Russian Drone Training Facility

In a separate operation during the night of May 19–20, Ukrainian forces targeted a Russian drone operator training center in the occupied Donetsk region. Ukrainian officials state that at least 65 soldiers were killed, including a commander associated with units linked to Ramzan Kadyrov.

The details were confirmed by Robert “Madiar” Brovdi, commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces. Operators from the 1st Separate Unmanned Systems Center utilized 11 combat drones carrying 100-kilogram warheads to strike a two-story facility covering nearly 2,500 square meters. The building, which housed assembly halls for drones and warheads as well as soldier quarters, sustained further damage when an ammunition depot in the basement ignited.
