Automatic Cash Injection
This year, educational staff will receive a record-high vacation bonus. The funds will be transferred to accounts automatically, bypassing the need for documentation or income-based qualification.
Net Payout Amounts
The full gross value of this year’s bonus is 2,943.23 PLN, resulting in approximately 2,590 PLN net after taxes. Regulations mandate that all payments be completed by August 31.
Factors Influencing Payouts
The final amount depends on the teacher’s employment status, specifically their full-time equivalent (FTE) and the number of months worked during the school year.
Three-Year Growth Trends
The bonus has seen a significant historical increase. Compared to the 2021/2022 school year, when a full-time teacher received 1,662.97 PLN gross, the benefit has risen by 1,238.36 PLN over three years.
Additional Social Benefits
Beyond the statutory bonus, some teachers may qualify for additional summer funds known as “wczasy pod gruszą,” financed by the Social Benefits Fund. Unlike the automatic vacation bonus, these require a formal application and are subject to income criteria based on the employee’s financial situation.
