Government Action Against False Alarms

Prime Minister Tusk held a briefing with ministers and security officials on Sunday morning to address the rise in hoax fire reports. The meeting followed an incident on Saturday evening where emergency services conducted a forced entry into a residence in Gdansk belonging to the family of Karol Nawrocki.

Directives to Security Services

Addressing the officials, Tusk emphasized the need for immediate identification and detention of those responsible for these provocations. He stated that all relevant services must exert maximum effort to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.

The Prime Minister urged officials to communicate clearly regarding the state’s actions to prevent the spread of speculation and unfounded assumptions. Tusk confirmed he had been in direct contact with the President during the night, with Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński also coordinating with the presidential office.
