In an interview with Dawid Mysioret from the Sprawiedliwy Okiem Katolickim channel, Braun revealed that the eye patch stems from a recent operation he underwent due to his detached retina. He joked about the situation, saying, “It just happened, like a screen detaching.”

The Polish Prosecutor’s Office has recently expressed interest in prosecuting him over his controversial comments regarding Holocaust denial. The move led to the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek filing a request to remove Braun’s parliamentary immunity.
