US Vice President JD Vance has condemned the death of student Henry Nowak, who was fatally stabbed in Southampton, framing the incident as a tragic indictment of Western social and institutional failure.

“Henry Nowak died the same way civilization dies: abandoned, handcuffed by authorities who neither trusted nor cared for him, and accused of hate crimes he did not commit,” J.D. Vance wrote on X.
The Vice President stated the death is both tragic and outrageous, suggesting it could have been avoided had European elites rejected policies of “self-hatred” and mass immigration. He argued that the only appropriate response is “justified anger.”
Vance emphasized that the Trump administration proved that controlling mass migration and defending national sovereignty is a matter of political will, not mere circumstance.

“We love our civilization,” Vance added, stating that no one should die in the manner Nowak did. He offered his condolences to the victim’s family, calling for the preservation of the West.

Background of the Southampton Incident
The murder of Henry Nowak occurred in December of last year in Southampton, UK. The perpetrator, a 23-year-old Sikh man, stabbed the student with a ceremonial knife. Upon arriving at the scene, police handcuffed the victim, dismissing his claims that he had been stabbed.
In May, the court sentenced the killer, Vicrum Digwa, to life imprisonment, with eligibility for parole after 21 years.
Henry Nowak, who held dual British and Polish citizenship, was a finance and accounting student.
