The Skywarn Polska association reported that a tornado struck the village of Cudnochy in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship on Friday afternoon, an event that has since been documented on video.

Skywarn Polska confirmed that a tornado occurred in the village of Cudnochy on Friday, June 5, during the afternoon hours. Footage capturing the phenomenon was published on the X platform.

Weekend Weather Outlook

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) reports that Saturday’s weather will feature small to moderate cloud cover, increasing at times, with occasional light rain showers. Temperatures will range from 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, though coastal and mountainous regions will remain cooler, between 17 and 19 degrees.

Sunday will see increased cloud cover, with the exception of the southeast. The forecast includes rain showers and thunderstorms, with precipitation totals reaching up to 20 mm. Temperatures will vary from 18 degrees Celsius at the coast to 27 degrees Celsius in the Masovian region.

Wind Conditions and Storm Risks

Winds are expected to be light to moderate, occasionally gusty, and predominantly westerly. During thunderstorms, wind gusts could reach speeds of up to 65 km/h.

Long-term Forecast and Warnings

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management warns that the coming week will remain volatile. The forecast predicts variable weather featuring rain showers, localized intense thunderstorms, hail, and strong wind gusts.
