The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management has issued first-degree storm warnings for the Suwałki region as intermittent rain and gusty winds move across northern Poland throughout Monday.

Monday will be cloudy across Poland. The northern half of the country will experience intermittent rain, while the northeastern fringes face potential storms. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management has issued first-degree warnings for the Suwałki region, where rainfall could reach 20 mm, potentially accompanied by hail and winds up to 60 km/h.
Maximum temperatures will range from 19°C in Pomerania and 23°C in the center, up to 26°C in the west, with coastal areas seeing 17°C to 20°C. Winds will be light to moderate, generally from the west and northwest, with occasional gusts in the north and east.
Overnight Weather Patterns
The night will see small to moderate cloud cover, with clouds increasing in the west during the second half of the night, bringing a chance of light rain and possible storms in the southwest. Initial intermittent rain is also possible in the northeast.
Local fog may limit visibility to 300 meters. Minimum temperatures will range from 10°C in the northeast and Carpathian valleys to 17°C in the west, with 9°C to 11°C in other Carpathian basins. Winds will be light, shifting to southerly in most areas, with gusts up to 60 km/h in the Sudetes.

Tuesday, June 9, will be clear in the eastern fringes, while the rest of the country remains under moderate to heavy cloud cover. Central regions should expect intermittent rain and storms, with rainfall accumulation reaching 20 mm, and up to 40 mm in the Silesia and Lesser Poland regions.
Maximum temperatures are forecast between 20°C in the northwest and 29°C in the southeast, with 27°C in the center and 18°C to 20°C at the coast. Winds will be light to moderate, reaching up to 70 km/h during storms in Pomerania and 60 km/h in the Sudetes.
