Sasin and the “Butter-makers” Launch New Law and Justice Association

Jacek Sasin has announced the establishment of “Po Pierwsze Polska,” a new association operating within the Law and Justice (PiS) party, supported by over 100 members and senior party officials.

Structure and Loyalty Within the Party

As Jacek Sasin explained, the “Po Pierwsze Polska” association consists of PiS parliamentarians, with over 100 membership declarations already submitted. Sasin emphasized that members declare full loyalty to Law and Justice and its leader, Jarosław Kaczyński.

He added that the association will not operate outside the party or establish its own regional structures, functioning exclusively within the existing PiS framework. The organization is currently proceeding with formal registration in the National Court Register (KRS).

Leadership and Party Integration

Elżbieta Witek, Tobiasz Bocheński, and Patryk Jaki have assumed the roles of vice-presidents, while Michał Moskal serves as secretary and Marek Wesoły as treasurer. Sasin indicated that further information regarding the initiative will be released shortly.

Internal Party Dynamics

This is the second association formed within PiS recently, following Mateusz Morawiecki’s “Rozwój Plus,” which initially caused tensions regarding the development of separate power centers. Following a reconciliation meeting in April, Jarosław Kaczyński described the party as having “two lungs.”

Kaczyński noted that the party aims to appeal to a more radical electorate through Przemysław Czarnek, while Morawiecki focuses on those seeking administrative efficiency and stability. Since November, unofficial reports have highlighted a recurring conflict between the “scouts” supporting Morawiecki and the “butter-makers,” a faction including Sasin, Bocheński, Jaki, and Czarnek.
