Polish Ministry of Health Announces New Deputy Ministers

Minister of Health Jolanta Sobierańska-Grenda appointed Katarzyna Kęcka and Tomasz Maciejewski as new deputy ministers on September 9th.

New Deputy Ministers Appointed

Katarzyna Kęcka, previously the president of the Hospital Medical Center in Goleniów since 2019, holds a master’s degree in nursing (specializing in cardiology) and serves as an assistant at the Basic Health Care Department at the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin.

Tomasz Maciejewski, who has directed the Maternity and Children’s Institute since 2012, specializes in gynecology, obstetrics, and perinatology. Additionally, he serves as a lecturer and author of numerous scientific publications, as well as a member of various academic societies.
