Ukrainian Air Force announced a massive overnight attack by Russia on multiple regions, including those near Poland’s border.
Russia Launches Largest Attack Since Four Months
The Ukrainian Air Force reported their largest attack since May, involving Kh-101, Kh-59, and Kalibr missiles that struck regions in Lutsk, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Donetsk, and Odesa. The Russian drones entered Polish airspace during these attacks.
Key Locations Targeted
Initial attacks were reported in Sumy Oblast, moving westward. Soon after, rickets appeared over Ohtryk and Balakliya in the Kharkiv region. By 5:30 AM Kyiv time, the military reported missiles flying towards Lviv near the Polish border.
Polish Airspace Breached
The Operational Command of the Polish Army confirmed multiple breaches of Polish airspace by Russian drones during the attack. While operational activity continues, the military emphasized the need to remain in homes, with the most significant risk to Podlaskie, Masovia, and Lublin regions.
