Russian Drones Enter Polish Airspace: Expert Analysis

A Polish defense expert has linked the recent intrusion of Russian drones into Polish airspace to Moscow’s major missile and air attack on Ukraine, while emphasizing that the route was deliberately chosen to pass through Poland.

Defensive European Sojurn

According to Jarosław Wolski, himself an expert in defense, the incursion of Russian drones into Poland did not occur accidentally but as a deliberate attempt by Moscow to test Poland’s military, including air defense and command chain arrangements.

Targeted Urban Approach

Most ominously, the drones appeared to be flying towards larger Polish urban centers such as Zamość and Tomaszów Lubelski. This raises serious concerns, according to Wolski, about potential future strikes on Poland itself.

Polish Military Preparedness

In the aftermath of the incursion, Poland’s governmental communications emphasized heightened alert levels, particularly in light of the potential threat to key military infrastructure targets.
