Młociny Metro Station Fire Closes Three Stations Temporarily

A fire at Młociny Metro Station forced the temporary closure of three stations on the M1 line, with services running on a shortened route between Kabaty and Słodowiec.

Three Stations Closed

The Authorities closed three northern stations on the M1 line—Młociny, Wawrzyszew, and Stare Bielany—this morning, causing trains to run on a shortened route between Kabaty and Słodowiec.

Air Condition on Closed Section

A bus replacement service was introduced for the closed section, operating between Słodowiec Metro Station and Młociny Metro Station 23, providing transportation in the communication corridor connecting Bielany and Marymont.

Fire Investigation

The fire was caused by a braking system failure on one of the trains, according to the fire department, causing three northern stations to be closed temporarily.
