Drunken Man Attacks Priest During Mass in Mieszcisko

A drunk 47-year-old man attacked a priest and damaged a church altar during a mass in Mieszcisko, Poland on September 12th.

Intruder Wreaks Havoc

The intruder, aged 47, barged into the church dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel during a mass service and caused extensive damage to the altar.

Physically Assaults Priest

The suspect then launched himself at the priest, while throwing vulgar insults while assaulting him, based on social media reports from the scene as police intervened.

Alcohol Involved

The local police quickly arrived and arrested the drunken man, who tested positive for 1.3 grams of alcohol per liter during a breath check. Police will wait for him to sober up to continue questioning but have taken a statement from the minister as a clear violation of the law.
