A 17-year-old Belarusian and 21-year-old Ukrainian were detained after a drone was spotted flying near government buildings in Warsaw, followed by another discovery outside of the Senate building two days later.
Incidents and Reactions
On September 15th, near Parkowa Street in Warsaw, a drone was found flying in a restricted zone that included the Belweder and the Prime Minister’s Chancellery. The State Protection Service disabled the object involved. In connection with the incident, a 17-year-old Belarusian and 21-year-old Ukrainian were arrested.
Continuing Investigations
On September 17th, ”Miejski Reporter” reported another drone found near the Senate building’s fence. The authorities immediately secured the area. According to initial findings of the Marshal’s Guard, the discovered drone was a toy.
