A 15-year-old girl’s body, identified as Celeste Rivas, was found in the trunk of a Tesla belonging to 20-year-old R&B singer David Anthony Burke, known as “D4vd,” in Hollywood.
Details of the Discovery
The body of Celeste Rivas, who went missing in April of last year at the age of 13, was found in a state of advanced decomposition inside the vehicle. According to the Los Angeles police, it appears she had been dead for an extended period.
Circumstances of the Discovery
The vehicle, a Tesla owned by Burke, was abandoned in Hollywood Hills five days before it was towed. At the time of the discovery, Burke was on a concert tour. The police found the body with a short black top and black leggings on; she had black, wavy hair, a stud earring, and a yellow metal chain on her wrist.
The cause and time of death remain unknown.
Investigation and Cooperation
Burke is cooperating with the police. Celeste was last seen on April 5, 2024. The Los Angeles Police Department is handling the investigation.
