On Friday a man was kidnapped in the center of Olkusz, Poland, and police have arrested three suspects believed to be relatives of the victim’s partner.
Kidnapping in Olkusz Center
Roadside footage captured by a passerby shows two men dragging a person onto a car while the individual walked along the sidewalk in Olkusz. The video also recorded the car’s registration number. The clip helped police identify the perpetrators, who are siblings of the man’s partner. According to RMF FM, the partner wanted to “eliminate” her boyfriend.
What About the Abducted Man?
Police reports state that the 42‑year‑old man from Warsaw was found in Pruszków County. Earlier searches had been conducted because the abductors intended to take his phone. He had been seen on the Silesian road, where surveillance cameras recorded his presence.
Charges Filed
The Mława police office has arrested two men who allegedly carried out the abduction and a woman who allegedly arranged it. The men have been charged with unlawful deprivation of liberty. After questioning, the woman was released to her home.
