Two people injured in car collision on national road 44 in Jaśkowice, with road blocked for approximately two hours.
Accident on National Road 44
On the evening of Saturday, February 7th, in Jaśkowice, Małopolska, on national road no. 44, an accident occurred. Two passenger cars collided – reported radioRMF FM. Two people were injured. Rescue services arrived at the scene.
The station reported that after the collision, national road number 44 was completely blocked on the section between Skawina and Zator. The National Road and Motorway Administration reported that the difficulties were removed after 20:00, after about two hours. Małopolski Portal Informacyjny reported that three cars were involved in the collision. “We appeal to drivers to exercise caution, follow the instructions of the services and choose alternative routes” – it was written after 19:00.

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management did not cover the northern part of Poland and the eastern regions of the Podlaskie voivodeship with warnings. Icing warnings are in effect until Sunday, February 8, until 18:00.

On Sunday, the cloud cover in most of the country will be small and moderate. Snow may continue to fall in the south and west. Maximum temperature from -9°C in the northeast, around -4°C in the center to 1°C in the southwestern regions. Weak and moderate wind, in the south occasionally gusty, south-eastern and eastern.
