On Friday, 5 December, Warsaw municipal guards responded to a call that an aggressive, intoxicated 30‑year‑old woman was racing toward a flat on Międzynarodowa Street in the Praga‑Południe district.
Emergency Call
A frightened resident on Międzynarodowa Street called the municipal guard service before 10 p.m., reporting that a woman was aggressively rushing toward his apartment. The dispatcher from number 986 calmed him and informed him a patrol would be dispatched.
Arrival of the Guards
Within minutes, guards from the VII Territorial Patrol knocked on the door. The male resident opened it, described the incident and said he was deeply unsettled.
Identification and Breath Test
Police officers identified the woman and administered a breath test; her urine contained above 3.5 per mille of alcohol. She, in a slurred voice, claimed she had entered the building „looking for drugs”.
Transport to Recovery Center
The guards called police to the scene. The woman was not wanted, and after confirming she possessed no prohibited items, she was taken under guard supervision to the Central Facility for the Intoxicated (SOdON, Sobriety Center).
Outcome
The residents of the block and their neighbors could finally enjoy the well‑deserved peace.
