TVN24 first reported that the incident occurred around 9:00 PM at the hospital landing pad on Szaserów Street. The medical helicopter was transporting a patient with broken legs from an accident near Siedlce.
Air Ambulance spokesperson Justyna Sochacka confirmed that the crew spotted a laser beam while approaching the landing site. The pilot immediately aborted the descent and performed a circle until the laser activity ceased, successfully landing on the second attempt.

The incident has been reported to the police. Authorities have previously highlighted the severe danger posed by such acts, noting that pilots require absolute focus during the critical landing phase, and any distraction threatens the safety of the crew and passengers.
Under Article 211 of the Aviation Law, emitting a laser beam toward an aircraft in a way that may dazzle or blind the crew is a criminal offense punishable by a fine, community service, or imprisonment of up to one year.
