Alcohol‑Influenced Driver Causes Collision in Ochota, Blocking Two Lanes

On Monday night around 9:40 p.m. at Aleja Jerozolimskich 144E in Warsaw’s Ochota district, a collision between a Mercedes and a Subaru injured one person and closed two lanes toward Ursus.

Collision Details

At approximately 21:40 on Monday, two passenger cars – a Mercedes and a Subaru – collided on Aleja Jerozolimskich 144E, near the West Station. The impact left one person injured and required hospital transport.

Blood Alcohol Test

A breathalyzer indicated that the driver of the Mercedes was under the influence of alcohol. Police secured the scene and performed their duties while the passenger was taken to hospital.

Traffic Impact

The incident closed two lanes heading toward Ursus. After police operations concluded, traffic flow was restored.
