Collision Details

On Tuesday, April 21st, around 10:40 AM, a serious collision occurred at the Siberian Exilees Roundabout, at the intersection of Jerozolimskie Avenue and Bitwy Warszawskiej 1920 Street, involving an Opel passenger car and a Mercedes ambulance.

The ambulance overturned onto its side following the impact. Despite the severity of the incident, no injuries were reported.

Ambulance Route and Circumstances

Initial reports indicate the ambulance was transporting a patient and traveling from Prymas Tysiąclecia Avenue, proceeding straight through the roundabout towards Grójecka Street.

At the same time, an Opel was traveling along Jerozolimskie Avenue towards the city center. The collision occurred in the middle of the roundabout when the Opel struck the side of the ambulance.

Patient Transfer and Investigation

The patient being transported by the ambulance was transferred to a hospital by another ambulance. Both drivers claimed to have entered the intersection on a green light.

Unofficial reports from the scene suggest the ambulance, traveling with lights and sirens activated, may have entered the intersection on a red light, leading to the collision. Police are investigating the exact circumstances.
