Bem Intersection to Be Rebuilt, Pedestrian Crossing Added

From 6 November, traffic will be altered at the Powstańców Śląskich and Sternicza junction as a new pedestrian crossing and tram tracks are constructed, finishing January 2026.

Improving Safety

The City Roads Authority will install a crossing over the tram tracks, traffic lights, sidewalks, a bike lane and lighting at the intersection. Four mature beeches will be transplanted and four new linden trees planted. Works will continue until the end of January 2026.

Roadworks on Powstańców Śląskich

Work starts 6 November at 7:00 am, closing the left lane toward Połczyńska for about 100 m. From 8 November, tram-side lanes on both directions are closed up to Szczotkarska avenue until mid‑November.

Tram Closure

From 8 to 16 November, trams will not travel Powstańców Śląskich and Połczyńska between Górka and Cmentarz Wolski. Lines 10 and 11 will stop at the Cmentarz Wolski loop. Line 26 will be suspended 8–11 November and shortened to Cmentarz Wolski 12–16 November. The 66 tram run from the Górczewska estate to Młociny via Górczewska, Powstańców Śląskich, Reymonta, Wólczyńska and Nocznickiego streets, with bus Z10 replacing it between Klemensiewicza 02 and Cmentarz Wolski.
