Joe Biden has been hospitalized after suffering a significant head injury from skin cancer surgery, while simultaneously battling aggressive prostate cancer.
Skin Cancer Surgery Injuries
A recent photograph showed Biden with a substantial wound on the right side of his head, stemming from a recent operation to remove a skin cancerous tumor. The wound was the result of a surgical procedure known as the Mohs method.
Prostate Cancer Progression
In May, it was reported that Biden had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, which had spread to other parts of his body. Biden opted for hormone therapy, taking medications every six weeks to manage the condition.
