Bill Clinton Testifies on Epstein: “I Saw Nothing and Did Nothing Wrong”

Bill Clinton testified before Congress about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, claiming he severed ties with the financier a decade before his 2019 arrest.

Clinton’s Testimony

Bill Clinton testified before the House Oversight and Reform Committee on February 27 in Chappaqua, New York. He stated, “I know what I saw, and more importantly, what I didn’t see. I know what I did, and more importantly, what I didn’t do. I saw nothing and did nothing wrong.” He claimed he severed contact with Epstein at least a decade before the financier’s 2019 arrest.

Epstein’s Denials

According to declassified documents from the U.S. Department of Justice, Epstein denied that Clinton ever visited his island, where investigators allege underage girls and young women were exploited. However, it is known that during Clinton’s presidency (1993-2001), Epstein met with Clinton’s advisors at the White House. After his presidency, Clinton used Epstein’s private plane and visited Epstein’s apartment and office in New York.

Hillary Clinton’s Statement

Hillary Clinton testified on Thursday, stating, “I never met Jeffrey Epstein, I never had any contact with him, I never communicated with him.” The former U.S. Secretary of State emphasized that Bill Clinton also knew nothing about Epstein’s crimes. She noted that “the timeline of connections he had with Epstein ended several years before any information about Epstein’s criminal activity was revealed.”

Clinton’s Response to Flying on Epstein’s Plane

Clinton addressed his use of Epstein’s plane, stating in a post on X: “As someone who grew up in a home with domestic violence, not only would I not have gotten on his plane if I had any idea of what he was doing, I would have turned him in myself and demanded a just punishment for his crimes, not lenient deals.”
