BMW Crashed in Śródmieście. Two Men Fled on Foot, Abandoning the Car

On Saturday, February 21, a BMW crashed into infrastructure in central Warsaw, with two men fleeing the scene on foot.

Incident Details

On Szwoleżerów Street in Śródmieście, a BMW crashed into road signs, a traffic island and a pylon, then onto the sidewalk where it hit a property wall. After the incident, two men abandoned the vehicle and fled.

The incident occurred on Saturday, February 21, around 12:00 PM when the driver of the BMW lost control for unknown reasons and hit infrastructure elements.

Witness Accounts

Shortly after the crash, two men exited the vehicle. Witnesses remembered their appearance and provided police with details that may help identify them and clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Police Response

Police arrived at the scene and began searching the area. A tracking dog was called to assist but lost the trail after a few hundred meters. Despite searching the area, the two men could not be found.

The BMW was secured by police and towed to a police parking lot. Police are continuing their investigation to determine who was driving the vehicle and why they fled the scene.
