BMW Crashes, Occupants Flee Scene After Removing Plates

A BMW crashed on Płochocińska Street in Warsaw around 3:40 AM on April 6th, with occupants reportedly fleeing after removing the license plates.

Initial Crash and Vehicle Damage

On Monday, April 6th, around 3:40 AM, a BMW was involved in a serious incident on Płochocińska Street. The car left the roadway on a curve for reasons currently unknown, hit a lamppost, rolled over, then collided with two trees before coming to a stop against further trees.

Despite the extensive damage, initial reports indicate that those traveling in the car were unharmed.

Occupants Flee and Investigation Launched

Those in the vehicle reportedly exited on their own and then removed the license plates from the damaged BMW before fleeing the scene on foot. A search for the driver is currently underway.

Unofficial information suggests the car had Ukrainian license plates, and the driver and passenger may have hidden at a nearby gas station.

Securing the Scene and Assessing Damage

Authorities secured the vehicle and investigated the exact sequence of events. The damage pattern indicates the car left the roadway with significant force and stopped only after multiple impacts with roadside trees.

Subsequent Road Blockage

Several hours later, around 6:00 AM, further disruptions occurred in the same area when a tree fell onto Płochocińska Street and power lines, completely blocking traffic. This added to the existing traffic problems caused by the earlier BMW incident.
