A BMW carrying five teenagers overturned in Mąkolin, Poland, killing a 14-year-old girl and injuring two others.
Accident Details
The accident occurred on Monday, March 9, around 7:30 PM in Mąkolin, Płock county. According to preliminary police findings, an 18-year-old driver lost control of the BMW on a road curve, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and roll over.
During the rollover, the passengers were ejected from the vehicle one by one.
Casualties and Injuries
A 14-year-old girl died despite resuscitation attempts. Two other teenagers, aged 16 and 17, were transported to hospitals by helicopter due to serious injuries. The 18-year-old driver and a 17-year-old passenger with minor injuries were also hospitalized.
Emergency Response
Three helicopters from the Air Ambulance Service, four medical rescue teams, firefighters, and police were dispatched to the scene. The road was completely blocked during the rescue operations.
Investigation
Police confirmed that the BMW driver was sober. Further investigations are underway to determine the exact circumstances of the tragedy.
