The owner of a property in Skajboty discovered a human corpse in her garden well after neighbors recommended she use the water, prompting a formal police investigation into the identity.
Discovery at the Property
Sub-inspector Jacek Wilczewski of the Olsztyn Municipal Police reported that the property owner found the body while checking the well. Police have since recovered the remains and secured all forensic evidence at the scene.
Investigation into Origins
The current owner purchased the property over a year ago and primarily used the municipal water supply. Acting on neighbors’ claims that the well water was of high quality, she opened the well and made the discovery.
