Body Found Near Search for Missing 23-Year-Old; Seven Detained

Missing Person Case Turns Serious

The disappearance of 23-year-old Adrian Pomaski from Ciechanow has escalated. A body was discovered on Wednesday near Władysławowo, close to Ciechanow, and while identification is unconfirmed, it is suspected to be Pomaski.

Description of the Missing Man

Adrian Pomaski has been missing since early April. He is described as approximately 175 cm tall, with a slim build, short dark hair, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black Adidas track pants with white stripes, a light blue cap, and a shoulder bag.

Seven Detained, Investigation Underway

Police have detained seven people in connection with the case. Five have been questioned by prosecutors as suspects. The investigation currently focuses on unlawful imprisonment combined with severe distress and endangering a person’s life or health, but charges may be amended.

Extensive Search Efforts

Extensive search operations involved around 100 officers, including support from other units. Searches covered fields, meadows, forests, abandoned buildings, and drainage ditches, utilizing drones and tracking dogs.

Body Discovered Near Search Area

The discovery of a body near Władysławowo on Wednesday represents a significant development. Preliminary findings suggest the remains may be those of the missing Adrian Pomaski. Investigators are working under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office to formally confirm the identity.
