Suitcase with Decaying Body Found in Ustka
A suitcase was discovered drifting in a water channel on Rybacka Street, Ustka, on 1 May. Inside was a body at an advanced stage of decomposition.
Subsequent investigation identified the victim as a 42‑year‑old Ustka resident who had been missing since January.
Police Investigation Ends with Arrests
Criminal Police from Slupsk and the Gdańsk Metropolitan Police began a multi‑thread investigation, gathering surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses.
Evidence suggested the victim was violently beaten in an apartment in Ustka, then placed in the suitcase and abandoned near the water channel.
On 27 October, police arrested a 27‑year‑old woman and a 30‑year‑old man in Ustka and Miechucin, and found a sample of a substance preliminarily identified as amphetamine.
Two More Individuals Linked to the Murder

All three are in pre‑trial custody for charges of murder and desecration of a corpse. The court imposed temporary detention upon their requests.
