The body of a 33-year-old man was discovered in the Vistula River near Głowiny, in the Płock district.
Police believe the remains are likely those of a man who jumped from the Legionów Piłsudskiego Bridge in Płock on March 28th.
Report and Initial Response
The report regarding the body was received by Płock police duty officers yesterday after 3:00 PM. Services were dispatched to the location, and the discovery was confirmed upon patrol arrival.
Forensic Examination Underway
Forensic procedures were conducted at the scene under the supervision of the prosecutor. The body has been secured for an autopsy to confirm identity and determine the circumstances of death.
Previous Search Efforts
According to police investigations, the recovered body may belong to the man who jumped into the Vistula River from the Legionów Piłsudskiego Bridge around 3:25 PM on March 28th. Rescue and search operations involving the fire department, police, and WOPR were conducted that day, but the man was not found.
