On Saturday and Sunday, a bomb detonated on a single‑track line near Życzyna in Garwolin County, forcing trains onto a second track and creating a shuttle schedule.

Sabotage Near Puławy Disrupts Power Supply

A second plot damaged about 60 meters of electrical traction lines and installed a metal collar on the tracks around Puławy; a passing train tore through the collar, rupturing the lines and striking a train carrying nearly 500 passengers.

Investigators Trace SIM Cards to Suspects

A discharged mobile phone was found on the tracks. RMF FM reporter Krzysztof Zasada relayed that authorities already know who purchased the SIM cards used to remotely detonate the devices, although one device did not explode for unknown reasons.
