British Intelligence Seeks Russian Spies in Dark Web, Says Putin is Deceptive

The UK’s MI6 intelligence agency has launched a Dark Web portal to recruit spies, primarily targeting Russians, amid claims that Vladimir Putin seeks Ukraine’s capitulation.

MI6’s New Dark Web Portal

The British intelligence agency MI6 has launched a new portal in the Dark Web, named SilentCourier, aimed at recruiting spies. The portal allows individuals to contact MI6 securely and anonymously.

“Our virtual front door uses the anonymity of the dark web, so anyone, anywhere in the world, can safely get in touch with MI6,” said outgoing MI6 chief Sir Richard Moore.

Appeal to Russians

Sir Richard Moore specifically appealed to Russians, urging those with information to share to contact MI6. He promised that individuals working with the intelligence agency would be protected.

“To those men and women in Russia who have the truth to share and the courage to share it, I invite you to get in touch with MI6,” Moore said.

Putin’s Intentions

Sir Richard Moore expressed skepticism about Vladimir Putin’s willingness to negotiate peace, stating that the Russian leader seeks Ukraine’s capitulation.

“He is deceiving us. Because the underlying theme has always been sovereignty: Putin negates Ukraine’s sovereignty and its existence as a state and a nation,” Moore said.
