The incident occurred Friday evening in Bystrzyca Kłodzka, involving four men. According to the District Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson, three men confronted one, leading to an argument.
One of the men allegedly drew a pistol and fired several shots at the 26-year-old, who died at the scene.
Suspect and Arrests
The shooter voluntarily turned himself in to police late Friday night. The other two men who were with the victim were detained Saturday morning, but questioning was delayed until they sobered up.
Charges Filed
The prosecutor, Pindera, stated Sunday that questioning was completed and the shooter has been charged with murder.
The suspect claims he acted in self-defense, but evidence – including testimonies from the other two individuals and surveillance footage – suggests intent to kill, according to Pindera.
Arrest Warrant Request
Investigators are requesting an arrest warrant for the suspect, with a court hearing scheduled for Monday.
