Shooting in Bystrzyca Kłodzka Leaves One Dead
A shooting occurred Friday evening in Bystrzyca Kłodzkiej, resulting in the death of a young man. Police confirm the use of firearms and have detained three people in connection with the incident.
Investigators are examining the circumstances of the event and attempting to determine who initiated the aggression.
Six Shots Fired in Residential Area
The incident took place around 10:30 PM on Osiedlowa Street, on the outskirts of Bystrzyca Kłodzka. Residents of nearby buildings heard a series of gunshots, causing panic and immediate calls to emergency services.
Preliminary findings suggest a total of six shots were fired, although police officially state only “several” were discharged.
Emergency Response and Victim Information
Patrols and emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene. Despite intervention efforts, the injured man could not be saved. The victim was young, but his identity has not yet been officially released.
Suspects Detained by Police
Police quickly launched operational actions. One person suspected of firing the shots was arrested that same night. In the following hours, early in the morning, two additional individuals believed to have been involved in the incident were taken into custody.
Investigation Ongoing, Motives Unclear
“At this stage of the proceedings, we are not determining who was the attacking party. This will be established by the investigation conducted under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office,” said Police Commissioner Przemysław Ratajczyk of the Wrocław Provincial Police Headquarters.
Police emphasize that the incident is criminal in nature, indicating it was not a random occurrence. Investigators are analyzing the relationships between the participants and possible motives.
