A 25-year-old woman without a license was detained after driving a vehicle that bounced off curbs while she possessed 3 per mille of alcohol in her blood.
Reckless Driving Incident
Police reported that the vehicle was literally bouncing off the curbs. The woman, who possessed no driver’s license, smelled strongly of alcohol and tested positive for 3 per mille of alcohol in her blood.
The passenger was sober and explained that he did not realize the woman was under the influence because he has problems with his sense of smell.
Charges for the Detainees
The woman was detained and sent to a center for intoxicated persons. Once sober, she was charged with driving while intoxicated, facing up to three years in prison, and will also be held responsible for driving without a license.
The passenger was also interrogated and will be held accountable for providing the vehicle to the 25-year-old, who lacked the required qualifications.
