A serious accident occurred on the Konotopa interchange in Jawczyce, Warsaw West County, during the night of Wednesday to Thursday, April 8-9. Emergency services received a report of the incident at 1:23 AM.
Sequence of Impacts
Upon arrival, authorities determined the car driver initially struck energy-absorbing barriers, then a lighting pole, and subsequently sound barriers. The vehicle overturned after the series of impacts.
Severe Damage and Injuries
The force of the collision was substantial, with the engine being ripped from the car and entering the vehicle’s interior. One person was injured and transported to a hospital.
Investigation Ongoing
Due to the injured person’s condition, a blood sample was taken to test for alcohol or drug presence. The circumstances of the accident are under investigation.
