Car Fire in Zielonka Underground Garage Requires Multiple Fire Crews

A BMW vehicle caught fire in an underground garage on Wojska Polskiego Street in Zielonka on April 9th, prompting a response from seven fire units.

Fire Breaks Out in Zielonka Garage

On Thursday, April 9th, around 12:50 PM, a car fire occurred in an underground garage located on Wojska Polskiego Street in Zielonka, Wołomin County.

The fire engulfed a BMW passenger car, while a second vehicle parked nearby sustained heat damage.

Firefighter Response and Containment

Firefighters quickly began extinguishing the blaze upon arrival, successfully limiting the extent of the damage and preventing further spread of the fire.

Damage Assessment

In addition to the fully engulfed BMW, a neighboring car suffered scorch damage. While the building’s structure remained intact, the electrical and sewage systems were damaged.

Units Involved

A total of seven fire crews participated in the operation, including four units from the Wołomin Fire Department, a deputy commander of the State Fire Service in Wołomin, and the Wołomin Fire Department commander, as well as two units from the Zielonka Volunteer Fire Department and one unit from the Kobyłka Volunteer Fire Department.

No Injuries Reported

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. Firefighters secured the scene and mitigated the effects of the fire after it was extinguished.

The cause and circumstances of the fire remain unknown.
