A collision at the Targowa and Ząbkowska streets intersection in Warsaw’s Praga-Północ district on March 26th left one person hospitalized.
Collision Details
Shortly after 9:00 AM on March 26th, two passenger cars collided at the intersection of Targowa and Ząbkowska streets in Warsaw’s Praga-Północ district. A Nissan overturned onto its roof as a result of the impact.
Preliminary findings indicate that the driver of a BMW was traveling along Targowa Street towards Aleja “Solidarności”. The collision occurred when the BMW driver entered the intersection with Ząbkowska Street, colliding with a Nissan that was turning left.
Emergency Response
The force of the impact caused the Nissan to roll onto its roof. Firefighters, paramedics, and police were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters secured the area and the involved vehicles.
Paramedics examined those involved in the incident. A passenger from the Nissan was transported to the hospital for further medical attention. There were no immediate reports of other hospitalizations.
Traffic Disruption and Investigation
Significant traffic disruptions are in place around the intersection. Traffic flow on Targowa Street towards Aleja “Solidarności”, and entry onto Ząbkowska Street, are severely restricted. Traffic police are on site documenting the incident and investigating the circumstances.
Initial investigations suggest the BMW driver may be at fault, allegedly entering the intersection on a red light. The exact circumstances will be determined through further police investigation.
