Cash-in-Transit Convoy Attacked in Wrocław, Manhunt Underway

A cash convoy transporting money from a currency exchange to a bank was attacked in Wrocław, Poland, on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 1 PM on Wednesday on Bzowa Street in Wrocław, when a vehicle deliberately collided with the cash convoy.

Two thieves then broke a window of the convoy vehicle, entered, stole cash, and fled the scene, according to Gazeta Wrocławska.

Escape and Ongoing Manhunt

Witnesses reported that after the initial collision, the convoy vehicle was blocked from behind by another vehicle, which was then used to facilitate the getaway.

The robbery was completed in a matter of moments, and a manhunt for the perpetrators is currently underway.

Police Investigation and No Injuries

Police have confirmed an investigation is ongoing but have not released specific details. No injuries were reported during the attack.

Local media reports indicate that two currency exchange employees and two attackers were involved in the incident, which resulted in a traffic collision.
