CBOS Poll Shows Modest Rise in Polish Support for Tusk’s Government

CBOS Highlights Modest Surge in Government Approval

October CBOS data shows Polish approval of Donald Tusk’s government at 31%, a 2‑point rise from September’s 29%. Opposition fell to 45%, 1 percentage point lower, while 20% of respondents remain indifferent, unchanged from the previous month.

Poles Growing More Polarized on Tusk’s Premiership

Only 33% of respondents say they are satisfied that Tusk is at the helm, 1 percentage point higher than in September. At the same time, dissatisfaction rose to 57%, a 2‑point increase, indicating a more polarized public stance.

Presidential Performance Lags Behind Expectations

In a separate CBOS survey, 51% of respondents rated President Karol Nawrocki’s performance as good, down 3 percentage points from the previous poll. About 26% judged it poorly, unchanged, while 23% said it was hard to say, up 3 percentage points.

Survey Methodology

The poll was carried out from October 2‑13 on a sample of 901 people, using 61.2% CAPI (computer‑assisted personal interview), 22.5% CATI (computer‑assisted telephone interview) and 16.3% CAWI (computer‑assisted web interview).
