On the night of December 24, 2025, a three‑year‑old boy was burned in Pruszków, and an LPR helicopter landed at the scene to support emergency services.
Incident
On the night of 24 December 2025 at about 18:40, a dangerous incident occurred in Pruszków on Bolesława Prusa Street, when a small child was burned. A helicopter from the Air Rescue Service, the fire brigade, the city guard, and two medical rescue teams were dispatched to intervene.
Response Coordination
Because of the nature of the report, a decision was made to deploy the Air Rescue Service crew. The helicopter landed on the city market square, where the services set up and secured the landing zone. After the aircraft landed, operations proceeded smoothly—time was crucial, and all elements of the action were coordinated.
On‑Scene Medical Aid
Witness accounts indicate that a stretcher and medical bag were transported to the State Fire Service vehicle. Then a doctor from the Air Rescue Service travelled with firefighters to the scene where the injured child required help. At the same time, medical rescue teams were operating, and the fire service secured the area.
Transport and Aftermath
After providing assistance, the approximately three‑year‑old child was transferred to an ambulance of the medical rescue team and taken by road to the hospital. The helicopter flew empty to base; after medical operations ended, firefighters again secured the landing spot for the takeoff.
The entire operation lasted about 40 minutes.
