Incident Occurs on 1 Sierpnia Street
A Mazda, driven by a 35‑year‑old Polish citizen, was traveling down 1 Sierpnia Street when it emerged from a parking lot onto the road at number 33 and collided with a curb on the opposite side.
Citizen Arrests Driver and Alerts Police
Witness A. Suzuki, driving a personal Suzuki nearby, stopped and exited his vehicle. He found the Mazda driver slumped at the wheel, smelled strong alcohol, removed the keys from the ignition, and called police.
Breathalyzer Shows 2.1 Promille
Police arriving on the scene confirmed that the driver was under severe intoxication, with a breath test reading 2.1 promille. He was taken to the police station after becoming sober.
